Pristine – Josh’s Bagged STi

a cover

Last year at Import Alliance I spotted Josh’s Subaru and it was love at first sight. This year, I made sure to reach out a few months in advance and ask him if he’d have some free time this year during IA to split off from the show and shoot a feature. Lucky for us, he was happy to.

Hailing from Indianapolis, Josh has always been about the low life. After being around his friends in the VDub scene, it didn’t take him long to buy coilovers and slam his old 2002 WRX.

After riding on slammed coilovers, Josh knew that when he upgraded to an STi, he needed to upgrade to air as well.

For an air setup, he decided to go with Airlift bags paired with Autopilot v2, and allow me to say… this thing rides nice.

Along with air ride, Josh originally set the car on Rotiform NUEs, but has since changed it up with some polished CCW LM5Ts. Either way, we aren’t complaining!

Josh says he’s pulled inspiration from all over for this build.

Future plans include building the motor and possibly a color change.

“Thanks to all my friends who have helped get the car to where it is,” he said. And we’d like to thank them as well!
