Black Mamba | Kurk’s Chevy Camaro

Recently I had the opportunity to visit South Florida and meet up with who I’d like to now call my good friend Kurk and his static Camaro sitting on Vossen CV3s. I’ve always heard about the car scene being so strong up and down the west coast but hear very little about what the guys are doing down south. Let me say this. These guys don’t play around when it comes to quality builds and setting trends.

I think these South Florida guys disserve more credit then what they get. Immediately I started following all these guys builds via Instagram and reached out to who I could and luckily Kurk contacted me and said he was open to do a photoshoot when I got down there. Immediately when I arrived I contacted him and we met up outside the hotel. We had discussed locations previously so we ended up heading toward Wynwood Art District in South Miami not to far from where I was staying.

Just moments into the shoot I was just in shock about how low his Camaro really was. Seeing pictures online then actually seeing his car in person is just unreal. We also tried to set up a shoot with his good friend Trev and his slammed accord. But do to unforeseen events someone ended up rear ending him just a few days before we were able to shoot and he couldn’t make it. So defiantly be on the look out for Trev’s car in the future! One thing that I really do admire about the car scene in South FL is how close everyone is and the respect they have for each other builds.

As a photographer we see cars online whether it be on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram and hope to get the opportunity to meet the owner and photograph their pride and joy. I’m so thankful that I had the chance to meet up with Kurk and even more thankful I’m able to share his ride with you all.

Port of Miami

Personally I haven’t seen many Camaros as low as Kurks. His car sits on a set on BC racing coils. Combined with an aggressive set of Vossen CV3’s 22 x 9 upfront and 22 x 10.5 in the rear. All four wheels wrapped in Nitto Invo 255/30 in the front and 295/30 in the rear.

Kurk really gave me a small glimpse into the car scene in South Florida and I’ve pretty much fell in love. I hope that in the near future I’ll be given the chance to share with you all more builds and sick cars coming out of this area. Kurk would like to give a special thanks to BC Racing, Vossen Wheels, Nitto Tires and Pedro for helping with the build.
